What should I bring to my first appointment?

Allow plenty of time to travel to the clinic so you do not miss your appointment. New patients will be required to complete a registration form. Bring along the following:- * Referral letter from your GP (valid for 12 months) or other health specialists (valid for 3 months) in order to claim a medicare rebate * Medicare card * Health record / medical letters * List of medications * Other relevant medical reports (i.e. blood tests, imaging / scans)

What can I expect on my first visit?

Dr Michael Yeong will ask detailed questions such as full medical history and any health concerns pertaining to your child. He will then perform a physical examination. This may include scanning of the heart using ultrasound (echocardiogram) and conducting an electrocardiogram (ECG). Both echocardiogram and ECG are non-invasive tests that will allow the doctor to find out how well your child's heart is working. Subsequently, he will explain the findings of his assessment and discuss treatment plan if required. For complex problems, a review appointment may be necessary for treatment and management of the condition.

Where can I park my car?

FREE PATIENT PARKING IS AVAILABLE onsite behind the buildings at ground level, as well as paid parking located in the underground carpark. Entry via the ramp to the left of Princess Plaza.
